Robothon 2007 was a great success! Special thanks to our sponsors and the volunteers who helped us put it all together and made it run smoothly. We also want to thank all of those who came and participated. We saw a lot of great robots, both in the competitions and at the tables. The results are posted, and we hope to see you all again next year!

Robothon is a national event that showcases the capabilities and technological developments in robotics from the amateur robotics community. At this event, people from around the world come together to present new robotic technologies, share ideas, meet fellow robotic enthusiasts, show off their robotic creations, and compete in many robotic competitions and activities.

Robothon is FREE and open to the public.

The main goal of Robothon is to promote and educate the general public that science and technology is fun and exciting for all ages.

Changes for Robothon 2007:

• We have added a MicroMouse contest.
• We have added a Easter Egg Hunt contest.
• There is now a R/C (remote control) division for 3kg Sumo (in addition to the traditional autonomous contest).
• There are no longer separate Beginner classes for Mini Sumo or Line Following.
• We have clarified that differential GPS (DGPS) is not permitted for Robo-Magellan.
