Contact Us Robothon is a fun and exciting event open to everyone but targeted toward high school and college students. Our purpose is to encourage young people to become interested in science, electronics, math, physics and other technical areas. To keep Robothon open to everyone, we charge no admission or registration fees. Our budget is about $10,000 and is funded entirely through donations and small fundraisers. We appreciate your interest in helping to sponsor Robothon.
Last year's Robothon was very exciting. We had over 100 robots compete and show, and about 4000 spectators came through the event.
Major Donor
A minimum contribution of $1,000 will make you, or your company, a Major Donor. All the features of our Vendor program are available except you may have up to three free tables and a 30-minute demonstration. You will be mentioned in all promotional materials as a Major Donor and will be allowed far more freedom in advertising at the event. You do not have to attend Robothon to be a Major Donor!
Vendor
This package is suitable for small companies, particularly ones who work with robots in one way or another. For $100 you get an 8 foot by 30 inch table. Vendors that supply beginner kits that require little experience with soldering, electronics or programming do very well as do small assemblies like controllers, geared motors, sensors, etc. Table location is on a first-come, first-serve basis!
Raffle Prize Donor
We would greatly appreciate any donations you are willing to provide to us for use as raffle prizes. The annual raffle is the main source of income for the SRS and we would appreciate any help you could provide us. The SRS is a 501(c)(3) corporation. Sponsorship at this level will be listed in advertising materials in order of total retail value of items received.
Complete information packages will be mailed to vendors upon receipt of contract. Payment may be made anytime prior to September 1st, but early payment is greatly appreciated! The sooner we receive your donation, the sooner you'll be listed on our Sponsors page. Please feel free to contact us with specific questions.
