Robothon will be held at Seattle Center, home of the world-famous Space Needle and the Pacific Science Center. In case any members of your family don't share your interest in robotics, world-class shopping is a short Monorail ride away!

There are many fine hotels in Seattle. We recommend the MarQueen Hotel because it's comfortable, reasonably priced, and walking distance from Robothon. Feel free to contact us if you are looking for something more elegant or less expensive. There are good restaurants nearby; we would be happy to make recommendations.

If you are arriving by plane, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is about 30 miles south of Seattle Center. Depending on your date/time of arrival and departure, we may be able to provide transportation for you. Otherwise, there is the customary array of rental cars and buses.

Seattle starts having nice weather about the same time Robothon is scheduled. You may experience rain (usually in the form of light drizzle) or it could be sunny and warm. Although locals don't generally carry umbrellas, you may want to bring one! No matter what time of year you visit, it's unlikely you'll encounter temperatures less than 40 or more that 85 degrees.
